The first ever "Louisiana Second Amendment Weekend Sales Tax Holiday" kicks off at 12:01 a.m. on Friday September 4 and runs through midnight Sunday, September 6. The program exempts hunters, gun-owners and firearms enthusiasts from having to pay all state and local sales taxes on purchases of all firearms, ammunition and related hunting supplies.
